JV Rams start season

The Rams JV girls basketball team at École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School team is showing early promise in their 2021/2022 season.

“We have won both of our league games so far and had a great exhibition weekend at CACHS where we played some strong teams and learned a lot. We also just won the Stettler tournament this past weekend. It’s been awesome to see how much the girls have picked up this early in the season,” said Kessie Stefanyk, head coach.

“They are definitely students of the game and don’t shy away from adversity. In between games we will continue to build our team offense as well as work on individual skills to help bring our game to the next level. It’s been great having athletes back in the gym again and we look forward to what this season will bring,” says Stefanyk.

Their final game of the 2021 was Dec. 15 but the season will pick back up on Jan. 5 when they host West Central and an at home tournament on Jan. 14 and 15. Spectators at the games are limited but games are streamed live on game day at twitch.tv/lchsrams.
