The Lacombe Edge U19B has finished their golden season.
The ringette team claimed gold at provincials in Airdrie on March 27.
“This was one of the best teams that Lacombe ringette has ever had,” said Larry Litwin, the team’s coach. “Especially coming out of COVID, they haven’t really played in a year and a half.”
The team, which went undefeated in their season, with a 38-0 record, also had six players in the top 10 of scoring in the league.
“This was a very special team,” said Litwin.
