If you’re looking for a few sparks, a hot time and some heavy metal, you might consider a visit to Lacombe’s

Blacksmith Shop Museum.

The blacksmith shop has been fabricating essential tools for more than 100 years.m(Blacksmiths are craftsmen who create implements from iron and steel by forging the metal or working with it cold.)

Originating in 1902, the blacksmith shop is the oldest such operation in Alberta and is now recognized as a provincial historic resource.

Much of the machinery and tools are original.
