Pearman competed at World Cup Finals last week

The Ponoka Minor Hockey Association held a memorial jersey ceremony on March 10 at the Ponoka Arena Complex in honour of Levi Busat and Sam Neath.

The Lacombe Farmer’s Horse Sale, held in mid-March from 1925 to 1950 drew buyers from as far away as Ontario. Supporters stopped along Highway 2 on Feb. 5, 2022 as a slow roll convoy made their way from Calgary to Edmonton. The convoy was part of a larger protest against COVID-19 mandates that took place in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec.
